Our Story...

Rustic Roots was established in 2017 by sister and brother partnership, Lauralynn and Colin.

With over 20 years hairdressing experience working in high-end salons, Lauralynn had always dreamed of creating a space that felt different. Somewhere clients could enjoy beautiful hair without compromising their values or the world around them.

In June 2017, that vision became reality, and Rustic Roots opened its doors. 

​

From the very beginning, our aim was to offer a naturally stunning, eco-conscious salon experience - one that feels calm, welcoming, and thoughtful in every detail.

Where the name comes from

The name Rustic Roots reflects both our surroundings and our foundations. 

​

"Rustic" speaks to the natural feel of the salon, from the decor to the products we choose. While "Roots" represents the strong family values on which the salon was built.

Together, they embody everything we believe in: authenticity, care, and a deep respect for both people and the planet.
